“Hi, I Presently reside at east bording canal road patna and studying at Akash Institute in Patna. My aim is to complete the medical entrance exam and take admission in any of the medical college in India. As you all know I did my schooling in remote village if Bihar where I do not had the privilege to study in English and somehow it is lacking and pushing me back in the class room, but I cannot give up and hence I started taking extra classes.
When I started living in girl’s hostel, it was difficult for me to live with strange peoples. Slowly I made good friends we all are in same batch. I am very grateful that I found Nomi Network who is helping me to live and achieve my dream. The community I belongs to never promotes girls education; instead they think girl has born to become a prostitute and help families in earning their livelihood. But my parents never forced me to do that, they always encourage me to do study and become a doctor. I would like to thank my parents, Nomi team who are helping me to achieve my goal.
Patna is a capital of Bihar and a big city and this is my first time when I came to live, it takes 8 hours bus drive from my Forbesganj town to reach Patna. Initially for each and everything I was dependent on hostel warden but now I am going alone to market to buy books, any stationaries, food for me. Initially I was missing my town, family and friends a lot, but now I made so many friends, we study together, we live together, we shares our feelings, emotions, study materials. Akash institute’s teachers are very cooperative when they find that I am enable to catch up classes clearly, they allowed me to come for extra classes. After class I spend most of my time in coaching library, where there are so many books for medical preparation and also it allows me to ask questions from my teachers, since they are available for lecture. Hostel is little far from my coaching so I have to start early it takes 15 minutes’ walk to reach coaching, classes starts on 9.30 so I always try to reach class by 9.15!”
