On the 31st of January 2016 three of our new sponsor girls started attending Ramkrishna Mission Institute and undertake an English course for a year. Paromita is one of these three girls and she is over the moon to have the opportunity to realise her academic potential. In our ever globalising world, where English is one of the predominant languages spoken in the Western world, this is an important skill to have. The vision is, that with the skill of speaking English, Paromita can develop her communicative language skills and achieve professional, academic and social goals.
Paromita has written to us to tell us about her first semester at the British Council for Language.
“I love to speak English. I want to try speaking in English. I just completed 1st semester but couldn’t learn full English but till try to speak in English, now I can talk in English little bit with my friend. I can good chatting with my friend. Thank you for this opportunity.”
