On the 31st of January 2016 three of our new sponsor girls started attending Ramkrishna Mission Institute and undertake an English course for a year. Deepika is one of these three girls and she is a role model student and really making the most of her English course. In our ever globalising world, where English is one of the predominant languages spoken in the Western world, this is an important skill to have. The vision is, that with the skill of speaking English, Deepika can develop her communicative language skills and achieve professional, academic and social goals.
Having successfully completed her first semester with outstanding marks, we received a brief update from Deepika about how she has been finding the course.
“I learn to English very easy reading and speaking much better now. I can understand English while people speak to me. After 1st semester I feel some progress in my English hope after all semester I will learn full English.”
